The region is rich in water resources, power plants generally use a wet cooling or cooling. The utilization of water resources is restricted in the areas where the water body is living in the water body and the places where water resources are scarce. Therefore, indirect air cooling system is used in the power plant in this area.
Shanxi Yangcheng Power Plant (2 x 600 MW unit) with two of the world's largest air cooling island. These two air cooled islands are built by EGI GEA in 2007. After the use of air cooling island, the daily water consumption of power plant cooling system is 3 cubic meters.
In order to ensure long-term safe operation of the power plant, the use of high quality of the valve is essential. Even a small valve failure in the power plant, it will cause the entire power plant system can not be estimated losses, resulting in a very negative impact on the plant. Therefore, in the Yangcheng project, the owners not only require suppliers to provide high-quality products, also require suppliers to provide corresponding solutions according to the demand. When the room temperature is steep, the cooling system must be drained quickly to prevent the water from freezing, the volume expansion and the damaged pipe network. Emergency drainage system drainage need to be fast, safe and even in the case of power outages.
